Through his commitment and dedication over the past four years, Harvey proudly supported the fight against the world wide AIDS epidemic, riding his bicycle over 3500 miles and raising over $27,000 in charitable contributions for local Midwest AIDS service agency/beneficiaries and for AIDS Vaccine research at UCLA AIDS Foundation. In July 2000, he rode his bicycle 500 miles over six days, from Minneapolis to Chicago in the "Twin Cities/Chicago Aids Ride 5" and committed to raising $4000 for local Aids beneficiaries and HE EXCEEDED HIS GOAL!!! In both July 2001 & 2002, Harvey rode his bicycle 500 miles from Minneapolis to Chicago in the Heartland AIDS Ride to support Midwest AIDS beneficiaries and 500 miles from Montreal, Canada to Portland, Maine in the "Canada/US AIDS Vaccine Ride" to support the discovery of an AIDS vaccine. Total fundraising goal was $6500. HE RAISED OVER $16,000!!! In 2003, Harvey raised another $7000, riding to support AIDSCare in Chicago, Illinois, Wisconsin AIDS beneficiaries and from Montreal, Canada to Boston to support UCLA AIDS Foundation's Vaccine Research. The AIDS pandemic is a very serious problem for our world. Want to be a part of this selfless human kindness?
